Welcome to Fathers Anonymous.
We help fathers and their families stay connected.
ABOUT US
—
Fathers Anonymous was founded with fathers in mind.
Fathers Anonymous is a community that seeks to offer support and services for fathers whom have been diminished in their role within our society. Some of the support/services we aim to provide include, but are not limited to: fatherhood advocacy and parenting classes, community outreach, recovery services, emotional support sponsorship, open dialogue about family court processes, and tangible needs when available. Fathers Anonymous, though specific in name, is an equally-shared parenting organization supporting fathers, their children and their support systems. We welcome all to our community with the goal of providing positive humanitarian and societal change.
"Your children need you to be present more than they need presents."
- Benjamin Watson
Meet Our Founders
Founder
Joe Jensen, Sr.
Mr. Jensen, raised in Washington State, is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He became a father in 2012 and joined The Fathers' Rights Movement (TFRM) in 2014. In 2015 Mr. Jensen was appointed as the Washington State Chapter Chairman for TFRM. In 2017 Mr. Jensen was voted to the Board of Directors with TFRM.
After leaving TFRM in 2020, Mr. Jensen worked together with other advocates to start Fathers Anonymous to provide a much-needed system of support and services to Fathers and their families.
Mr. Jensen has dedicated his energy to fixing the corruption in Family Court. He has joined with other advocates from across the country to fight against the injustices that happen to parents. He has made it his mission to ensure that parental equality becomes the social norm. Mr. Jensen has made 2 trips to Washington DC in support of family court legislative reform. Mr. Jensen is currently involved with the Washington State fatherhood committee sponsored by the Governor of Washington, as well as the Benton County Fatherhood Initiative.
President
David Bugg
David Bugg was born and raised in 1987 in Memphis, TN. He was active in the local Memphis music scene, in addition to his volunteer aviation work outside of his employer, to work toward gaining his FAA A&P certificate.
After three children through a rocky marriage, in 2014 David separated after having serious concerns living in his family home and remaining married, thus beginning David’s acclimation to the disparities within the family court system.
David has since relocated to the Pacific Northwest, beginning his advocacy for parental equality by volunteering for TFRM, ultimately working in media and helped facilitate the conference TFRM held in 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada that would host many other entities and figures.
After leaving TFRM in 2020, David helped co-found Fathers Anonymous with a core group of other advocates that came from the same organization. David continues to offer his compassion and experience through his advocacy so that other fathers have a better chance in family court and that other fathers that are already alienated continue to remain an option for their children.
